This is probably my last blog before the actual results are produced, so far we have managed to transcribe 40 interviews which will form the basis for the analysis of the data. As indicated in my last update, transcribing took a lot of time to complete since there was only one person assigned to do all the 40 interviews.

The project started at slow pace due to the delays that were experienced in trying to get the ethics approval for the activities to start. Initially activities were supposed to start in March but the approval came on 31st May, 2013. This then meant that the main activities started in June. Over the last three months, my main focus had been to get the protocol approved by College of medicine Research and Ethics Committee (COMREC) but also to ensure that all preparatory work is completed.
