Ethics & Engagement across the Wellcome Trust Major Overseas Programmes

Ended with presentations from two of our four GHBN Fellows. Very interesting stuff. Lots of ideas and advice floating around the room - how best to gather representative community views? How to apply ethics guidelines to health economics? Lots of questions but also some answers. Looking forward to the next day!

I thought today at the summer school was really wonderful. The discussion about community engagement and the presentations on the experiences of doing CE in Kilifi and on the Thai-Burma border were fascinating. But it was especially great to hear the two presentations from Maureen and Phuong. The first two of the GHBN bursary holders. I can't want to hear the other two from Cambodia and Thailand later in the week!
