Ethics & Engagement across the Wellcome Trust Major Overseas Programmes

Dear all,

I do hope you are doing well. Just a few update on my project: Informed consent form in Vietnam. After summarising all text data from audio interviews, I found many "interesting" themes and emerged data/information that I had not expected means new things come up. I was fighting with: which one were important should focus on? Frankly speaking I wanted to include/cover everything that the project found..with the help of the experts at the Ethox, I m now writing up a paper, started with the simple thing but importance :). I hope after finishing this project I can continue with another project: more focus, explore deeper and deeper. Research ethics is really an inviting field to me.

Congratulations Thuy! I look forward to reading your paper and hearing more about your results at the summer school! I'm glad you've enjoyed the project. Dina

Well done Thuy!  I too look forward to reading the article and learn from it. I'm sure there are some similarities in our setting and yours that your findings may benefit us in improving local practice. It's also good to note the challenges that you were having on what to focus on. Your experience will be important to us too when we arrive to that stage with our projects!
