Ethics & Engagement across the Wellcome Trust Major Overseas Programmes

Hi Everyone,

It's time for another update on my bursary project, though belatedly. I apologise for being late. Participant recruitment, data collection, and follow up is going on well. I've completed 2 FGDs (2 more left) and I'm liking the FGDs more, being the first time to do them. I'm hugely thankful to GHBN for the bursary projects that's enabling me to gain new skills as well.

Our recruitment is going on excellently and we should finish in Feb 2016. We aim to complete data collection (follow up IDIs) in March. Just like you, we are so excited to complete the project and get the results to use in developing guidelines for obtaining consent in paediatric studies!

Thanks for all the support you are giving me. Best Regards

thanks for the update Neema. Can you tell us some of the challenges you face in FGDs and IDIs?

Hi Neema,

That is great progress, wishing you well in the remaining activities. it will be interesting to hear more about your FGDs, looking forward to the next meeting where you can share all these interesting experiences.
