Ethics & Engagement across the Wellcome Trust Major Overseas Programmes

If you happen to be in Thailand Oct-Dec 2016, catch the Puppet Theatre on Antimicrobial Resistance and Research with Children. This a collaboration  between the Mahidol Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit (MORU) and B-Floor. Theatre Production.

The dates and venues are as follows:
29 - 30 October and 12 – 13 November, 2016 at 17.00 hrs
Bangkok Theatre Festival - Center Stage, Bangkok Arts and Culture Centre (BTS National Stadium)
Other shows:
18th Nov – as part of the AMR week activities in Bangkok (time and venue TBD)
12 – 14th December in Mae Sot as part of the SMRU 30th anniversary celebrations (Wattana Resort on 12th, Wang Pa on 13th, Maw Ker Tai on 14th -  time TBD)

Dear all,

Due to the King's passing, the Bangkok Theatre Festival was cancelled. Here is the new schedule.

  • 930 am, Fri 11 Nov, Chan Thong Eiam school, Bang Buatong, Nonthaburi (MRT Purple line or taxi from MORU
  • 11 am, Sat 12 Nov, Nurul Hidayah School, Ban Ma Community, Prawet (on way to Suvarnaphumi Intl Airport from MORU)
  • 10 am, Fri 18 Nov, 10:00 am, a 15-min excerpt at AMR Awareness Week Press Conference, Thai Health Promotion Foundation Office

    One of the Thai schools when B-Floor will perform Fishy Clouds, MORU's WT-funded puppet theatre performance on anti-microbial resistance.
  • 4-6 pm, Fri 18 Nov, Chakri Sirindhorn Medical Centre, Ramathibodi Hospital, Rama VI (about a 10 min walk from MORU's Mahidol campus)
  • 23rd Nov, Thammasat University open day, Rangsit Campus - 11am and 2pm
  • 3 pm, Sat 26-Sun 27 Nov, Democrazy Theatre Studio, off Rama IV, near MRT Lumphini
  • 7 Dec, at the opening ceremony of the Joint International Tropical Medicine Meeting (JITMM), Amari Watergate, Petchburi Road, Bangkok
  • 12-14 Dec, in Mae Sot, as part of SMRU’s 30th anniversary celebration. (Wattana Resort on 12 Dec; Whang Pha on 13 Dec, Maw Ker Tai on 14 Dec. All times TBA)
